MESA COUNTY, COLORADO - CLIMATE OVERVIEW
The Grand Junction region offers the best of Colorado living, from sunny days spent biking across red rocks and rafting the Colorado River to crisp fall hikes through canyon trails, powder days at Powderhorn Mountain Resort, and wildflower springs on the Grand Mesa.
Thanks to its high-desert location and sheltered geography, Mesa County experiences mild winters, low humidity, and virtually no risk of natural disasters such as tornadoes, hurricanes, or major floods. It's one of the few regions in the Rockies where it's possible to golf, ski, and mountain bike in the same weekend.
