Intermountain Health
St. Mary's Regional Hospital
Founded in 1896 by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, St. Mary's Regional Hospital has growth from a 10-bed wooden structure to the largest hospital between Denver and Salt Lake City with 310 beds. The hospital operates the region's only Level II trauma center, providing critical emergency care.
St. Mary's offers comprehensive services including advanced cardiac and vascular care, a regional cancer center, orthopedic and spine surgery. For nearly 130 years, St. Mary's has remained committed to its founding mission, revealing and fostering healing through compassionate, excellent care for all.


Community Hospital
Since 1946, Community Hospital has proudly served the region as an independent, non-profit acute care facility. Deeply connected to the community's needs, Community Hospital operates as a 60-bed Level III Trauma Center, with full outpatient diagnostic services and inpatient care including state-of-the-art ultrasound, CT scans, digital mammography, and comprehensive cardiac testing.
Community Hospital has made significant investments in maternal care, delivering a record 600 babies in 2024. The hospital is home to the world-class James Pulsipher Regional Cancer Center plus recent additions including a new pediatric therapy clinic, and a primary care clinic in Palisade.

Family Health West
Located in Fruita, Family Health West offers a range of healthcare services as a regional provider and Critical Access Hospital. Featuring an emergency room and a network of specialty clinics, Family Health West is dedicated to providing quality, locally-based healthcare to the region's rural community.
